We are proud to be a community Kindergarten affiliated with the Childcare and Kindergarten Association Limited (‘C&K’). This Association is a voluntary, non-profit, non-government organisation which has been at the forefront, providing and supporting quality care and educational programs for young children in Queensland since 1907.

As a Central Governing Body (CGB), C&K supports the needs of affiliated Kindergartens to focus on their children, families and community through their strong and trusted brand and connected professional community.  Being affiliated with C&K means that we receive comprehensive support in many areas including governance and legislative requirements, kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committee and staff, advice and support regarding wellbeing and inclusion, use of C&K resource materials and assistance with the regulatory frameworks including the National Quality Standards.

Highfields Kindergarten is supported by specialised C&K staff including a C&K Regional Manager, Early Childhood Pedagogy Advisor, Early Childhood Education Consultant and Wellbeing & Inclusion Advisor, who have a wealth of knowledge gained from many years teaching and experience.  C&K’s head office, located in Brisbane, have a dedicated Affiliate Support Team who we can refer to when required.
